National Night Out is on Tuesday night.
It is a chance for people in the community to get to know their police officers and all they do.
St. Vincent's Medical Center is teaming up with local police departments to promote child safety for National Night Out.
They are introducing the Parking Buddy program with partners from Trumbull and Fairfield Police Departments.
The Parking Buddy is a national child safety initiative. There are two local events going on Tuesday.
Fairfield National Night Out
From 4–8 p.m. at the Sherman Green & Reef Road
Trumbull National Night Out
Also 4–8 p.m. at Indian Ledge Park
