A Stamford diner known for its over-the-top desserts has announced it will open a second location in Norwalk.

Elm Street Diner made the announcement on its Instagram page Monday.

In a message, the eatery posted, "We are thrilled to announce our second location will be coming to the Waypointe."

They say Elm Street Norwalk will be opening late summer or fall 2023.

The eatery is known for its over-the-top desserts like ice cream and milk shakes that often feature sugary and decadent ingredients like Nutella and Fruity Pebbles, piled up high.

Customers have flocked to the Stamford location over the years to order the desserts just to post a picture to social media.
