Steve Buscemi punched in the face in NYC, actor's publicist says

Actor Steve Buscemi was punched in the face by a man last week on a New York City street, according to his publicist.

The 66-year-old, who grew up in Valley Stream, was assaulted on Wednesday.

Buscemi's publicist says he is, "another victim of a random act of violence in the city."

He says Buscemi was taken to a nearby hospital with bruising and swelling to his left eye.

There had been no arrests made in connection to the attack as of Sunday night.
