A popular supermarket chain is offering earlier hours for older customers to get their groceries.
Starting today, people 60 and older will be able to peacefully roam the aisles of Stop & Shop with new store hours.

The grocery chain that operates more than 300 stores throughout different cities says it’s trying to help the most vulnerable avoid large crowds. As the situation has escalated people have rushed to buy those essentials sweeping the aisles and causing overcrowding and long wait times to pay.

Stop & Shop’s new special hours will be 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for customers over the age of 60.

They will have the opportunity to come in before the store opens for everyone else at 7:30 a.m.
