Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Hope Osemwenkhae says frigid temperatures are here for New York City, with feels-like temperatures in the single digits.
NEED TO KNOW: Central Park received 1.4 inches of snowfall since Tuesday morning. The extreme cold takes us throughout the week with wind chills in the single digits, teens and 20s. Coldest air of the season arrives on Saturday with painfully cold wind chills in the single digits.
NEXT: We're tracking another storm system for Thursday night through Friday that can bring more snow showers. Exact timing, totals and track is still TBD.
Tonight (BITTER BLAST): Mostly clear and painfully cold, watch for black ice. Lows near 20.
Wednesday: BITTER BLAST Sunny, blustery and bitterly cold. Highs near 27. Lows near 23.
Thursday: Partly sunny, cold. Chance of snow late. Highs near 34. Lows near 29.
