INCOMING SNOW: Heavy snow bands of snow will pivot through between 6-10 p.m., with the potential for an inch or more of snow per hour, creating hazardous driving conditions. Snow will quickly taper between 10 p.m. and midnight as winds will pick up and temperatures continue to plummet.

BRUTAL COLD: Arctic cold arrives overnight as low temperatures dip to the middle teens, feeling like close to zero with gusts approaching 30 mph. It will remain breezy on Monday with feels-like temperatures no better than about 10 degrees. It will become extremely cold Monday night with feels-like temperatures dropping below zero for the Tuesday morning commute.

THIS WEEK: The core of the extreme cold moves remains through Wednesday night with feels-like temperatures between 5-below and 10-below zero overnight for two straight nights. Layers will be key if needing to step outside, and please limit the amount of exposure to this extreme cold if possible.

MORE SNOW? A slight opportunity for snow early Wednesday with chances going down because it will be "too cold to snow" with the cold pushing the storm to the Gulf states. Another storm possible Friday could bring more accumulating snow. Stay tuned for updates.
