There are a couple quick bands of rain moving through during the early parts of the overnight. A quick passing downpour or two is possible during the late evening hours. We will quickly dry out overnight and see clouds trying to clear out as well.
All eyes are on the gust forecast for the Thanksgiving Day Parade for Thanksgiving morning. As of right now, it looks like gusts will be near the threshold but hopefully will be low enough to still have balloons flying, but potentially lower than usual. There will be no rain for the parade or the holiday, woohoo! It will however feel quite cold.
After near 60-degree temperatures for Wednesday, Thursday will only top out in the 40s, with wind making it feel colder. Bundle up before you head out for your Turkey Day plans!
Wind and cold temperatures will continue into Friday. If you're heading out early for Black Friday shopping, make sure you are wearing layers. Wind amps up for Friday and makes 40-degree highs feel closer to freezing.
Rain will hold off until the second half of the weekend. Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Saturday look like a combination of sun and clouds, with wind gusting between 20-40 mph.
OVERNIGHT: Early showers, clears out. Lows in the 30s and low 40s.
THANKSGIVING: Gusty and dry. Gusts 25-35 mph. Highs in the low to mid-40s, lows in the 30s.
FRIDAY: Sun, clouds, wind. Highs in the low 40s, lows in the low 30s.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs in the low 40s, lows in the 30s.
SUNDAY: Rain returns! Highs in the low 50s, lows in the low 40s.
MONDAY: Mostly dry with evening rain/flurries possible. Highs in the 40s, lows in the 30s.
TUESDAY: Rain and flurry chances! Highs in the low 40s, lows in the low 30s.
