Temps cool to 60 overnight; rain returns by Wednesday for first day of fall
New Jersey will experience another day of mostly dry and mild weather before an increase in humidity and rain returns.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says that rain is expected to return by Wednesday.
Monday’s overnight hours will see partly cloudy skies with temperatures dipping into the low-60s.
Tuesday will start off partly cloudy in the morning, followed by an increase of clouds by the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 75 degrees. Tuesday night will see some rain showers arriving after midnight, with lows around 70 degrees.
Wednesday will see showers early in the morning, with some clearing by the afternoon. Highs will be around 76 degrees with an increase in the humidity. Wednesday night will see cloudy skies with the occasional rain showers. Overnight lows will be around 71 degrees.
Thursday will see mostly cloudy skies with more rain. High temperatures will be around 76 degrees. Thursday night will see the possibility of a thunderstorm with lows around 66 degrees.
The rain is expected to continue into Friday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 72 degrees. That rain will linger Friday night with lows around 61 degrees.
