Today is the better half of the weekend with more sun, but cooler temperatures this morning. Yesterday started off with drizzle and warmed up to 53F in Central Park. Although today is a touch cooler, it's also sunnier and drier so overall a nice day.
Monday looks great too! Temperatures are not as cold in the morning, around 40F in the morning. Afternoon highs are in the low to mid 50s, but it will be cloudier and breezy in the afternoon with winds from the northwest at 15 mph.
Tuesday is overcast, but likely dry for the first half of the day. Showers arrive in the afternoon, and they will be light. Total rain is under 0.25 inch. Temperatures continue to climb despite the cloud cover. Highs will reach the mid 50s.
Wednesday is the wettest and mildest day in our forecast, but we are not expecting heavy rain and there will be dry time between on and off showers. Expect cloudy skies with an additional 0.25 inches of rain in spots. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s.
Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning will be breezy which could affect the balloon altitude for the Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan, but conditions improve throughout the morning.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday are dry, sunny, and chilly. High temperatures will be in the 40s with morning temperatures near or below freezing Thursday and Friday evening. Friday will be breezy and our coldest day out of the next few.
