News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says the city could see 1-2 inches of rain in total on Thursday. 
There will be gradual improvement by Friday, but much colder air arrives by the end of the weekend.
TONIGHT - STORM WATCH: Scattered showers early turn into moderate rain after midnight. Cold and breezy. Wind gusts could be 25+ mph. Lows down to 43.
THURSDAY: Rain, heavy at times during the morning. Tapering off to scattered showers/drizzle by the afternoon. Another round of showers during the evening, ending shortly after midnight. Highs around 55. Lows down to 48. Still breezy with 20-25 mph wind gusts during the day.
FRIDAY: Gradual improvement. Mostly cloudy with a few peeks of sunshine. Can't rule out an isolated shower during the afternoon. Highs get back up to 64. Lows down to 45 with clearing sky.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy and the nicer half of the weekend. Highs around 57, and lows down to 38. Can't rule out an isolated shower at night.
SUNDAY: Mix of sun and clouds, turning breezy. Highs around 48, and lows dip down to 26. Wind gusts of 20-30 mph possible.
MONDAY: A very cold start, partly cloudy and breezy in the afternoon. Highs rebound to just 39. Lows down to 24. Wind gusts of 20-25 mph possible.
TUESDAY: A very cold start, mostly sunny and breezy in the afternoon. Highs up to 47. Lows down to 33.
