Remy Ma faces 4 charges in alleged Irving Plaza attack

Rapper Remy Ma returned to court Friday to face charges for allegedly attacking a former co-star on the show "Love and Hip Hop New York."
The Bronx recording artist is facing several charges in connection with the incident at Irving Plaza back in April. Alleged victim Brittney Taylor took to Instagram shortly after with a bruised eye, claiming it was due to Remy Ma.
Prosecutors filed four charges Friday, including assault and harassment. They also updated the initial complaint, changing the time they say the incident happened from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Remy Ma's camp says they have visual evidence the rapper was not at the club at 9:30 and is not guilty.
"No one looks forward to going to trial. I have things to do with my life. I have a real job, I have a family, I have a husband, I have a daughter," says Remy Ma.
She has been offered a plea deal, but her lawyers say she will not take it. The trial is set to begin July 12.
Remy Ma was arrested back in 2007 and served six years in prison for attempted murder.
