Thousands gathered in Mineola Sunday for a march against a rash of recent anti-Semitic attacks across the state.
The rally, held at the County Legislative Building, called for peace following anti-Semitic violence, including the Monsey stabbings and the Jersey City shooting.
Local lawmakers, community members and even some Holocaust survivors marched for more than a mile across Mineola, standing together in unity.
Some local lawmakers like state Sen. Todd Kaminsky say one way to combat anti-Semitism is by education and prevention in the schools.
The march was organized by County Executive Laura Curran.
