Police say a pair of robbers has been targeting teenagers in Bronx parks at knifepoint.
Police have released photos of the pair believed to be responsible for several knifepoint robberies of teenagers.
Police say their latest victims are a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old boy.
News 12 is told they were at Soundview Park along Lafayette Avenue around 2:30 p.m. when they were approached by two men with a knife.
The 14-year-old was robbed then stabbed multiple times in the torso. Police say his attackers left with $20, AirPods and the victim’s sneakers.
Just six days before, the pair went after a 19-year-old at another playground on Bronx River and Soundview avenues. The victim told officers he was assaulted before they ran off with his property.
All three of the robberies happened blocks apart.
Detectives suspect the duo attacked their first victim on Feb. 19 at the Archimedes Academy Playground along White Plains Road.
They say a 17-year-old was stabbed in the leg before the suspects took off with his cellphone.
The two teenagers who were stabbed are recovering.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
