While many companies donate toys or turkeys to people in need this time of year, a Stratford company is giving the gift of warmth.
"Think about it, I mean I remember there was one year we didn't have power at Christmas and the heat went out it was awful," said Harry Lewis, vice president of construction Main Enterprises.
News 12 first visited a few years ago when Harry Lewis was seeking a homeowner in need of a free boiler or furnace.
"She had just lost her job, she had lost her husband, her boiler caught on fire, the fire department condemned it, so she had no heat," said office manager Jennifer Lindine.
Lewis was looking to help one family in 2017 but ended up helping three.
You can apply for a free heater or boiler through Dec. 4.
