Students, residents relieve school dance nights at 10th annual Red Hook Community Prom

The annual Red Hook Community Prom was back for its 10th year on Saturday night.
Brooklyn residents of all ages and students danced the night away at the South Brooklyn Community High School in the name of nostalgia to relive their high school prom nights.
What began as a community-wide spirit lifter following the Hurricane Sandy's devastation grew into quite the celebration for the entire community.
Residents were revitalized after years of quarantining, testing, masking and elbow bumping.
The Cora Dance Studio Started the event 10 years ago.
Proceeds from the prom will go toward scholarship funds for dancers who are training at the Cora School of Dance in Red Hook.
