Tuesday's subway attack sent nearby schools into a shelter-in-place and stoking fear in parents of students at those schools.
Parents chose to send their kids back to school Wednesday despite those fears, though some had mixed feelings and were nervous at dropoff.
"As a parent, I was afraid because they haven't trapped the guy yet," one P.S. 172 parents told News 12. "And we don't know what's going to happen, so I was very nervous to be honest with you."
