If you take the subway or bus on your commute, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says you may also be affected by the worldwide outage.
Subways and buses are still running as usual, but plan ahead because there are still a few things that may affect your commute. After a handful of hours of being out of service, the MTA app is back up and running.
MTA officials say countdown clocks are not working at this time. So, if you're running late, you won’t have that clock to let you know how long it will be until the next subway arrives to your station this morning.
Once again, service has not been affected. So, your trains and buses will be running as usual, but that doesn’t mean things won’t change.
The MTA says everyone should be listening out for announcements being made inside the stations today for updates.
