If you’re craving something warm, gooey and nostalgic, there's a New York City bakery that’s serving up comfort one swirl at a time with cinnamon rolls.
Owners Armando Litiatco and Ahmet Kiranbay opened Sunday Morning in January.
Their mission? To make every day feel like Sunday morning with soft, fluffy cinnamon rolls.
"We have about 10 main flavors, rotating throughout the day,” Litiatco said. "I think it's just cinnamon rolls and everyone likes cinnamon rolls."
The bakery’s signature rolls have quickly developed a following with lines forming moments after the doors open at 9 a.m.
"When we make cinnamon rolls at home, we give them out to the neighbors,” said Kiranbay. “Cooking is for business, baking is done at home.”
Guests are welcomed by the scent of brown sugar and cinnamon wafting through the air, and many walk out with more than one bun in hand.
“It feels great. We are extremely grateful and lucky that people love cinnamon rolls,” said Litiatco.
