Here’s what you need to know:
- A WIND ADVISORY is in effect through 6 p.m. Gusts up to 50 mph will blow around unsecure objects, bring down tree limbs and may result in a few power outages. There's currently an empty tractor-trailers and tandem ban on the bridges.
- After this weekend's storm, we have bitter cold, high winds and the potential of one snowstorm this week.
- It's bitterly cold and partly cloudy this morning with temperatures below freezing. Watch for patchy ice on the sidewalks/side streets from this weekend's storm. Wind chills are in the teens with high winds.
- Today will be frigid, gusty and sunny. Highs in the low 30s with winds chills in the teens and 20s.
- The weather stays breezy, dry and uncomfortably cold through Wednesday.
- Our next storm is Wednesday night into Thursday. A coastal storm will bring change of snow and windy conditions to our area. There's still some uncertainty on the exact track and timing. If the storm slides south, we'll receive minor accumulation with breezy conditions. If the storm slides north, we’ll receive significant snow and gusty winds. Snow totals can range from 2 inches to as high as 6+ inches. We’ll have more clarity on the track and totals in the next 24-36 hours. Stay tuned for updates.
- Temperatures will still be cooler than normal Friday through the weekend but the winds will be lighter with lots of sunshine.
