A cool down is within reach for The Bronx
A steep temperature drop from the 80s and 90s to the 50s is on the way.

Temperatures will fall quickly as we head into the next several days. A slight cool down begins on Friday, with temperatures finishing out the work week in the high 70s. By the second half of the weekend, our high temperatures will be in the 50s! This will be colder than what our overnight temperatures have been over the past few days.
Will rain join us? Some - we desperately need a drenching rain to help with our now moderate drought conditions. There is a chance for an overnight rogue raindrop, and a better chance for a few afternoon stray showers.
Our best chance for some helpful rain comes on Sunday. That rain could move in late Saturday night and continue on and off throughout the second half of the weekend. This will be courtesy of a cold front, which will cool us down to almost chilly temperatures compared to earlier this week.
