Students at any SUNY school will no longer be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
The updated guidance applies to all 64 campuses statewide. It goes into effect for summer courses and subsequent semesters.
Suffolk County Community College's President says in part, "We hope that students who hesitated to register for classes or chose online classes will now feel comfortable returning to campus to take part in and enjoy a college learning experience that was interrupted by COVID-19.”
