Super Bowl champion Willie Colon is showing love to his Bronx roots by hosting his annual holiday tradition in Melrose on Tuesday.
Colon says the Christmas In The Bronx event was founded when he was a young child and it helped his mother, Jean, give Colon and his brother Antonio a joyful Christmas. Now, he's giving back during the holiday season.
"My main cause for me, besides from being there, is because there is a need, bottom line," said Colon. "I've been across many people from that neighborhood and there's nobody going back to really just be a factor to make a mark in those little people's lives."
