Second- and third-graders from the Bronx received an inspiring visit Thursday from Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
Ousman Tunkara, 7, says he wanted Sotomayor to help him become a Supreme Court justice. He's one of the Bronx Children's Museum's "Dream Big" summer program participants.
On Thursday, Tunkara and a few of his friends were treated to Sotomayor's homecoming and the wisdom she passed on to them. She told them to work and study hard and learn that reading can be fun.
Sotomayor also emphasized remembering your roots, no matter how far you go in life.
