The incident happened Tuesday on Reservoir Avenue around 4 a.m.
Police have released new surveillance video of the suspect who they say sexually assaulted the woman.
They say the woman was able to push the suspect off of her and scream for help.
The woman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say sex crimes are up in the Bronx partially due to more victims coming forward.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
