Survivors gather to remember lives lost on 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor

It was early on a Sunday morning on Dec. 7, 1941 that Japanese planes dropped bombs on America's fleet of battle ships.

It was 80 years ago today the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.
United States veterans who were there and survived the attack are returning to Hawaii today for memorial ceremonies.
Many of these military heroes are now 100 years old or older.
It was early on a Sunday morning on Dec. 7, 1941 that Japanese planes dropped bombs on America's fleet of battle ships.
More than 2,400 people died.
The attack led to the U.S. entering World War II.
