yesterdayAuthorities have released video of a man suspected of attacking a parks department employee Sunday in Kingsbridge Heights.
The NYPD says the incident happened on Jerome Avenue just before 3 p.m.
The video shows the man believed to have cut the employee across his face and chest multiple times.
Detectives say the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, but a source within the parks department told News 12 that his injuries are very serious.
The parks department added that it was an unfortunate incident and that they pray the worker makes a full recovery.
Detectives ask anyone who recognizes the suspect in the video to contact police.
