Police say they're looking to identify a man who attacked another late Monday morning in Mount Hope.

The attack on East Burnside Avenue was caught on surveillance video around 11:45 a.m.

The video shows a man with white sneakers walking down East Burnside Avenue before he stops and walks back. He appears to approach a 61-year-old man and punches him. He may have said something to the victim before he took off.

According to police, the victim was minding his own business when he was assaulted. They believe he was a random target.

The victim was taken to a hospital in stable condition for treatment.

Police say the attacker boarded a bus after the assault.

Anyone with information that can help authorities identify the suspect is being asked to called police.
