An SUV plummeted into the mud and water in Soundview Thursday evening.

The incident occurred on Leland Avenue in Harding Park.

According to sources, there was a small child in the Toyota RAV4 when the incident occurred.

The car apparently went through a fence and some shrubbery before it went into the water.
