Storm Watch: Rain makes its way to the Hudson Valley
Rain is making its way toward the Hudson Valley.
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan counties until 11 p.m.
There is a chance of thunderstorms and showers in other areas of the Hudson Valley between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. - some of them could come with heavy wind and rain.
Tuesday will have highs around 78 degrees and be mostly cloudy with scattered plain rain showers. Wednesday will be gorgeous and sunny with highs temps topping out around 76.
Thursday looks like the best day of the week - it will be sunny with highs around 79.
Friday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy, with a chance for a few showers.
Saturday will also be partly sunny, with chance for a thunderstorm. Highs will be around 83 degrees.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with possible showers or thunderstorms. High temperatures will climb around 82.
