Sweet Science reopens after closing for a month due to wintry weather

A Brooklyn restaurant is open again following a month-long closure associated with the city’s string of bad weather.
New Yorkers can now visit Sweet Science on Graham Avenue in Bushwick for delivery, takeout and both indoor and outdoor dining.
There are several different rooms customers can be seated in, and all tables are at least six feet apart.
Owner James Freeman says the business even has a new cleaning procedure that staff has to follow.
“We spray people down from top to bottom when they come through,” Freeman says. “We spray their hands, front and back, and then also the bottom of their shoes.”
The staff also takes everyone’s temperatures and information for contact tracing.
Freeman says they wipe and clean all counter surfaces every hour.
He hopes that when more people get vaccinated and coronavirus numbers go down, they will be able to come in and enjoy Sweet Science.
