The Oculus at the World Trade Center is normally breathtaking enough, but now it's been fully transformed into Winter Whirl - a warm and cozy winter wonderland.

New Yorkers can lace up skates with the whole family and take center stage on a wintry rink around a giant reflective snowman.

The area houses 85 shops and restaurants, making for a perfect date night or an evening out with friends.

Winter Whirl at the Oculus is open through January from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.
