A teenage girl is accused of stabbing another teen inside of a subway station in the Bronx, police say.
The incident happened on June 12, inside of the Burke Avenue train station around 4:45 p.m.
Police say several teens were involved in a fight when a 17-year-old girl was stabbed.
The female suspect stabbed the teen multiple times who told police she was intervening in the fight to help her friend.
The suspect got onto a northbound 2 train and left the station with two others.
The girl who was stabbed was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where she was treated for injuries that are not life-threatening.
Police have released surveillance video and images of the suspect.
