Police say a 16-year-old girl is in critical condition following a fire at the NYCHA Mitchel Houses Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out just before 11:30 a.m. at 205 Alexander Ave.

EMS took the teen to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, according to the NYPD.

News 12 reached out to the FDNY but has not heard back.
