A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Morrisania early Monday morning.
Police responded to a shooting at 1346 Prospect Ave just after 5:10 a.m.
When police arrived, they found John Nunez with a gunshot wound to his head.
Nunez was pronounced deceased on the scene by EMS.
Sources close to the investigation say they are looking for a male wearing a white shirt and beige shorts who fled on foot.
There are no arrests and an investigation is ongoing.
