The NYPD says one of the young men who stole cell phones from commuters along the D train was taken into police custody.

The 17-year-old was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and assault.

Police say that three other thieves are still out there.

The group of four is connected to three different robberies that all happened in just the span of a few hours last Wednesday.

The NYPD says that some of these incidents were violent, with one victim getting punched and another threatened at gunpoint.
