Tesla is opening a new regional distribution facility in the Hudson Valley.

The 970,000 square foot facility will be on Route 300 in the Town of Newburgh across from the Newburgh Mall.

The facility will be mainly used for vehicle parts and will be built by New Jersey-based Matrix Development Group.

Officials say the building’s location near the I-84/I-87 interchange makes it a great spot for a logistics and warehouse/distribution sector.
