The Bronx Jewish Center held a Purim Party on Sunday in Pelham Parkway.
Purim is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the survival of Jewish people who escaped death by their rulers in the 5th century BCE.
To commemorate the holiday, people like to dress up in costumes and celebrate tradition through festivities like dancing and playing games.
