Colleges across the tri-state are trying to decide if COVID-19 vaccines will be required in order for students to return to campus this fall.

News 12's Elizabeth Hashagen was joined by Janine Biscari, vice president of student affairs at Molloy College, and Rick Gatteau, vice president of student affairs at Stony Brook University, to discuss the reopening of campuses.

As colleges and universities plan whether to have in-person classes in the fall, they are also determining whether to mandate vaccinations for returning students.

Molloy College has been operating a combination of in-person, HyFlex/hybrid and online classes for the 2020-21 academic year.
