More than $200 million in federal money is about to be funneled into our nation's public schools to support mental health efforts.
It is coming from that antigun violence law passed by Congress this summer.
Much of the money will go toward hiring mental health professionals and mental health service providers, to help create healthier and safer learning environments.
News 12's Erin Colton was joined by Kelly Canzone and Dr. Liz Nissim-Matheis to talk about mental health.
