If you have any money left after Christmas, head to the stores for deep discounts. News 12's Janice Lieberman gives the real deal on what may be worth grabbing.

The presents under the tree have been all wrapped or all open by now. But if you can grab some good deals on décor, Christmas wrap, ornaments and more, you can tuck them away for next year and save 50%-90% off retail as the stores need to clear space for spring.

Head to Target, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes to find holiday décor. Christmas candy at CVS should be half off.

If you wait closer to January the prices will drop even more, but the selection won’t be as enticing.

Winter clothing prices will be slashed in half or more. Check out Kohl's Christmas clearance. Size up for your kids and put away for next year.

Look for winter boots like Uggs to go on sale at retailers like Macy's, Kohl's and Dick's.

There’s always a need for toys and kids books for upcoming birthday parties, so check out the clearance section at big box stores.

If you want to make some cash, sell your unwanted and unused gift cards on sites like raise.com.
