Residents in Morrisania say they are fed up with strangers taking over their apartment building.
They say smoking, partying and what they fear is illegal activity by trespassers inside their East 164th Street building has become a new normal.
"A lot of young people, they come from outside to smoke marijuana, to be disorderly, to trash, to break our property," a resident tells News 12.
No one who lives in the building wanted to show their faces in fear of retaliation. News 12 called the building's superintendent and was unable to reach them.
The NYPD says it has received numerous calls about disorderly individuals at the location. Police say they have made 10 arrests inside, in front of or near the building since this time last year.
