For drivers who take the Bronx River Parkway, expect some delays in your commute as a $65 million traffic project is underway.

The Department of Transportation says they’ll be working on the project to replace the bridge carrying the expressway over the Metro-North railroad tracks.

Changes start around the Gun Hill Road section to Wakefield Avenue in the Bronx. DOT says commuters can expect to experience traffic delays until March 25, 2025.

News 12's Heather Fordham is by the construction checking out the rush hour traffic.
