Thunderbolt 12 gives an update on storm preps as remnants of Nicole take aim at NYC area

News 12's Noëlle Lilley is in Thunderbolt 12 in Soundview as sanitation crews are making preparations for the impact of Tropical Depression Nicole as it makes its way to the NYC area today.
The city's Emergency Management Department is recommending that New Yorkers stay inside and limit travel if possible.
Gov. Kathy Hochul is sending more than 1,000 large dump trucks across the state, around 7,000 utility workers, and an extra 1,500 Con Edison workers ahead of the storm.
Power outages and downed power lines should be reported to the police or directly to Con Edison.
