And heading back to work and back to school this week. Here's what you need to know, starting off really mild, but the whole week isn't going to end up that way. In fact, some chilly days ahead and some chilly nights ahead of us as well. There are a couple of changes with the forecast. At first, we thought we'd see a little bit more rain trying to sneak in here midweek or even some snowflakes. But that forecast has changed. You'll see that here a future cast as we go our by heading into the morning, temperatures barely cooling. So it will be a milder start with forties, plenty of sunshine on the way. And then in the afternoon, more clouds will move in. But these clouds are not bringing any rain or snow, which is great news and temperatures are going to be mild in comes the cold air, temperatures on Tuesday waking up are going to be in the thirties again. So you will need the warmer coats. So Monday's high as fifties, this is above average winds that we're going to be picking up 10 to 20 miles an hour. And by the time we get to the evening after the sun sets. Well, it's going to feel quite chilly temperatures dropping into the thirties and it will be much colder, waking up on Tuesday. So here's a look at that extended forecast, dry weather. Now through most of the week for Tuesday and Wednesday, we do have some sun clouds in there but temperatures are only in the forties during the day dropping back to near 30 degrees at night. First night of Hanukkah, it will be colder dry weather as the week wraps up. And then next weekend, look at those temperatures go. There is a spike in temps, highs back into the fifties for a time and there's also a chance of rain, but that's one week out on Sunday. So be sure to stay with us this upcoming week for much more.

Thunderbolt 12: Tracking rainy road conditions across NYC

to get to work this morning. I was going to say school, but not not so much work to school, wherever you're going, wherever you're going. Extra caution today with messy morning commute expected news 12 Noel lily, She's here joining us at Thunderbolt 12 with a live look at those conditions. What's it like out there? It doesn't look too bad, Noel. Yeah, you know, it's not too bad right now. Good morning guys, we're on the Bronx river parkway heading north and again, it's not too bad. But if you do look ahead of us, you can see a little bit of that traffic we're hitting this morning and you know, so far as the morning has gone on, as Hope mentioned, we have gotten a little bit of drizzle on and off throughout the morning, but it hasn't been too terrible. But but what we did see is against the slick and wet roads over this morning from last night's rain and early this morning that a little bit of drizzle we got. So of course we'll keep you updated with the very latest from here in Thunderbolt 12. And again, we're gonna continue on the highways this morning.
