Heavy winds from Tropical Storm Fay left parts of a tree on a parked car in the Bronx Friday.
Cellphone videos shows tree branches falling down on East 179th Street, leaving a big mess on the sidewalk.
The super of a nearby apartment, Victor Cartegena, tells News 12 he was afraid that the tree was going to split in half because the wind was that powerful.
Cartegena says no one was hurt in the parked car and he did a lot of cleaning up after the storm left the borough.
Fay also left subways flooded at Grand Concourse and 149th Street.
The storm hit its peak early Friday with winds reportedly going up to 50 mph.
