A community in Tremont gathered Sunday to mourn the loss of the doctor who was shot and killed during a shooting spree at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital.
Hundreds of parishioners at Saint Margaret Mary Church mourned the loss of Tracy Sin-Yee Tam.
Father Rudy Gonzalez says he dedicated Sunday services to the victims of the shooting.
As News 12 reported, Henry Bello, a disgruntled former hospital employee, walked into the hospital with an assault rifle under his lab coat looking for an ex-colleague.
Bello fired his weapon on the 16th and 17th floors and shot seven people, one of them fatally, before turning the weapon on himself.
According to reports, Tam was covering for a colleague and the doctor Bello allegedly wanted to kill was off that day.
