The power is back for residents at 1777 Grand Concourse, but on Tuesday tenants told News 12 they are still feeling shocked and confused.
Tenants were told by management on Thursday, Nov. 13 that Con Edison would be upgrading electrical service for the entire building.
Tenants called the electrical company looking for answers after the outage lasted for more than nine hours.
"We called ConEd, and they had no idea what was going on," said tenant Cora Robinson.
Con Edison told News 12 it had no involvement in the outage.
Residents said the day of the outage they saw men working outside next to the buildings parking garage.
They believe the workers were installing charging stations for electric vehicles.
News 12 has reached out to Asden Investment Properties and is waiting for a response.
