Police are searching for three men who they say targeted teenagers in three separate robberies.
The robberies happened within a two-hour period on Monday, and the youngest victim was a 13-year-old girl.
Authorities say the robbers first targeted two boys, 16 and 17 years old, in front of 50 Burnside Ave. just after 3 p.m. The men simulated a weapon and pushed two boys to the ground before taking a jacket and a wallet, estimated to be worth around $1,000. They ran from the scene traveling eastbound toward Jerome Avenue, according to police.
Just over an hour later, less than two miles away near East Kingsbridge Road and 192nd Street, the trio approached a 13-year-old girl. Authorities say they simulated a weapon and took the girl's chain off her neck, estimated to be worth approximately $100, before taking off on foot.
The third robbery happened 15 minutes later, about a mile away, in front of 2293 Sedgewick Ave. Police say the men robbed a 14-year-old boy of his jacket at knifepoint, a value of around $370, before running away traveling southbound on Sedgwick Avenue.
The 16 and 17-year-old boys were minorly injured, and the other victims were not hurt.
