Between the many flight cancellations and would-be travelers deciding to stay home, airline travel did not reach pre-pandemic numbers on Christmas weekend.
TSA says the more than 1.5 million people were screened at airports Saturday, which is up from the same time last year. However, it is a about 1 million less people that went through checkpoints in 2019.
