TSA says you can fly with your favorite Thanksgiving foods, but there are some restrictions
The Port Authority says 3.2 million are expected to be traveling by plane in the tristate area this Thanksgiving.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says that 8.7 million people will use airports and crossings from Nov. 25 to Dec. 2. That’s 5.5 million people using bridges and tunnels and 3.2 million traveling by plane.
The Transportation Security Administration says that it is possible to fly with your favorite Thanksgiving foods this year – but there are some restrictions.
The TSA says that if it is a solid item, it can go through the security checkpoint in a carry-on. This includes pie, stuffing or turkey.
But some food items will have to travel in checked baggage. This includes any item that can be spilled, spread or poured like cranberry sauce, gravy, wine or canned fruit.
Anything larger than 3.4 ounces should also be checked, according to the TSA.
