Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly
slashed two teenagers with a box cutter aboard a BX12 bus in the Bronx on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. near East Fordham Road and Third Avenue. According to authorities, a teenage boy suffered cuts to his neck and hand, while a teenage girl sustained a slash wound to her hand.
Emergency responders transported both victims to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.
Police say the two victims know each other but do not know the attacker. The suspect, described as wearing all black and a ski mask, fled the scene and remains at large.
Investigators were seen speaking with one of the victims at a nearby bus stop following the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact police as the search continues.
